AIS is excited to announce Jennifer Livesay as the new Membership Director. Jennifer comes to AIS with 10 years of nonprofit experience including the last four years at the 500 Festival. In her role there she helped direct more than 7,000 members/volunteers to support 40 different program services and events offered via the Festival throughout the year. Prior to that Jennifer was with Dress for Success for five years managing their flagship suits for success program. Jennifer has a B.S. degree from Southeast Missouri State University.
Continuing to enhance the membership value with AIS is one of the association's highest priorities. In recent years AIS has accomplished this through adding more and more journals and content in the eLibrary, expanding career and placement services, refreshing the AIS website, and offering new AIS membership packages to better fit our global and growing member needs. The organization has broadened its global reach through new affiliated conference agreements in Region 2 with ECIS and Region 3 with PACIS. Additionally, AIS has been partnering with organizations to offer new and innovative member services such as the IS research ranking service(s), Eduglopedia, broadening access in the AIS affiliated journals program, Senior scholar’s basket text mining and many more.
"I’ve received such a warm welcome from everyone at AIS and I’m excited to dig in as Membership Director," said Livesay. "I’m looking forward to encouraging and engaging members to take full advantage of all the great benefits an AIS membership has to offer. Additionally, I strive to continue the exceptional customer service members have come to expect from the AIS membership team."
Jennifer will work with several members of the AIS Council and staff to continue the growth of the organization and its benefits. To reach Jennifer, please email her at firstname.lastname@example.org.
