The AIS Global IS Education Report provides an integrated view of information systems (IS) educational offerings around the world. The field of IS, as an academic discipline, has developed an impressive collection of educational programs and resources worldwide, but until now there has been no consolidated account of such offerings on a global scale. The report is available at http://eduglopedia.org/report/ais-global-is-education-report/2016.
We are grateful for the extraordinary support of the IS community. The institutions themselves provided all data following multiple calls via the AISWorld mailing list, and the report includes 567 programs from 72 countries. The collection will be updated continually via the www.eduglopedia.org platform, and an up-dated report will be issued each year.
Because this report is only a start toward bringing together the global IS educational offerings, we encourage readers to look at institutions’ online profiles, which are updated throughout the year. To become part of the next AIS Global IS Education Report please see the 2017 open call:
We thank all the people who have been instrumental in making this report possible, particularly Jan vom Brocke Sandra Beyer, Inga Hämmerle, Stefan Fleischer, and Isabell Wohlgenannt.
